Nollywood actor and Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star, Adeoluwa Okusaga, popularly known as Saga Adeolu, has stated that, contrary to popular belief, actors do not enjoy kissing when playing romantic roles.
He made this known recently whilst appearing as a guest on the latest episode of the Nolly Icons podcast.
According to Saga, most actors do not enjoy kissing each other but feel compelled to engage in the act for the sake of better script interpretation.
While sharing his opinion on onscreen intimacy, he revealed that if he had his way, he would avoid such scenes entirely.

He went on to describe kissing in films as a “weird” concept, adding that he has never had a pleasant onscreen kiss despite featuring in several romantic movies.
Speaking on the show, Saga said: “It is not easy to kiss another actor. It is weird. I have not really had any good onscreen kiss. It is weird having people invade your mouth with saliva.
“It is not something we enjoy. People think we enjoy it, but we don’t. We are just doing it for the story most of the time. If I had my way, I wouldn’t kiss anyone in a film… There was a day I kissed four different girls on set.”
The thespian added that he and his colleagues should be commended for their professionalism in these scenes rather than being judged.
