British pundit and former Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney, has tipped Arsenal to go on and win the English Premier League (EPL) title after Manchester City dropped vital points against Everton, saying the Gunners “are efficient and professional”.
He made the prediction on BBC Sport while analysing the EPL run-in after Pep Guardiola’s men were held by the Toffees to a 3-3 draw at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night.
The result means Man City are now five points behind the league leaders, Arsenal, but with a game in hand.

Speaking on the possible outcome of this season’s league after 38 matches, Rooney argued that Mikel Arteta’s men will beat West Ham this weekend and go on to be champions.
He said, “No, I’m concerned for West Ham. I just think Arsenal are efficient and professional.
“I just think they will win every game. So obviously, with the result tonight, that means they will win the league.”
