Regina Daniels’ mansion sparks talk as GehGeh labels it ’emotional purchase’

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has once again made headlines after purchasing a multimillion-naira mansion in Lagos. The actress, who shared photos of the luxurious home on Instagram, described it as “a roof over my head” and “a home for me and my family.”
This comes only a few days after a viral video where Regina accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of physically abusing her and hinted that their marriage might end. Nwoko denied the claims, claiming her statements were influenced by “possible drug use” saying that his family remains stable.
Many fans praised Regina for her independence, but many disagreed with her actions, calling it impulsive and even speculating that she purchased the new house with Nwoko’s money.
Emmanuel Obruste, popularly known as Geh Geh, a Nigerian financial coach and content creator, who shares funny videos and gives advice on money and personal growth, shared a video online, expressing his thoughts on Regina’s actions
Geh Geh praised Regina for her accomplishments but expressed that he felt her actions where impulsive.
He said Regina’s choice to buy the mansion was not really because she needed a place to stay, but to prove a point after her marriage issues became public. According to him, the decision seemed to come from emotion, not financial wisdom.
“Making financial decisions based on emotions and sentiments is a financial mistake,” Geh Geh said.
He praised Regina for maintaining her image and independence before and after marriage, saying that people see her as Regina Daniels first, not just Ned Nwoko’s wife, but he also advised that instead of reacting to what people say online, she could have rebuilt her image through charity work or investing in her career, like producing a new movie.
Geh Geh added that it would have been better if she bought the house from the profits of her own investments, not as a quick reaction to public pressure.
