Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has publicly celebrated the recent release of her elder brother, Sammy, from prison, following a period of incarceration stemming from a family conflict involving her husband.
The mother of two expressed her feelings in a now-trending video she shared on her Instagram page after his release.
Sammy was recently granted a five million naira bail and subsequently regained his freedom after meeting the conditions for his release.
Reacting to the bail in a post featuring a video call with Sammy, Regina suggested that his presence means she is now protected, stating: “I love you so much my brother. Nobody go try beat me again.”

The actress expressed overwhelming gratitude for the support she received during the period, claiming her husband had attempted to turn public opinion against her.
“People love me ooo, I no believe am walahi, and that makes me emotional,” she wrote. “The kind love I have received during this period makes me feel good. Ned thought people would hate me. Make I no lie, for many reasons, belle dey sweet me.”
Sammy was reportedly arrested and charged in an Abuja court by his brother-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko, after publicly criticizing the Senator on social media amid the ongoing tensions with Regina Daniels.
The actress had previously accused her husband of domestic abuse, an allegation the Senator denied. Nwoko, in turn, claimed that the actress was abusing drugs.
