Popular socialite and businessman Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, better known as Pretty Mike, has been told to prepare for possible legal consequences over his actions at a recent event tagged “From Wahala to Wahala”.
In a video making the rounds on Instagram, the nightlife businessman was seen arriving at the event accompanied by more than 10 models dressed in lawyers’ regalia.
Captioning the now-trending post, Pretty Mike noted that he was honouring men in wigs in Nigeria.
Reacting to the video, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) known as ‘Maritime Guy’ on X confirmed that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has seen the clip, adding that appropriate steps will be taken.

He wrote: “Just to mention that the NBA Lagos Taskforce is fully aware of this incident, and necessary steps are being taken.”
Netizens were, however, divided while responding to the threat of possible legal action against Pretty Mike.
While some expressed surprise that such action is being considered, given that he is known for making dramatic appearances at parties, others felt it was the right step to take.
Before this latest incident, Pretty Mike had a previous encounter with law enforcement. A few months ago, the authorities shut down his nightclub over allegations that illicit substances were found on the premises.
Following a period of incarceration and a search of his business premises, he later won the case in court.
