Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has urged the Justices of the Supreme Court to fast and pray and seek the help of God to reveal the true President Bola Tinubu’s certificate.

Sani made the remarks on the heels of the confusion currently trailing the true status of the President’s certificate.

Recall the apex court had said there are conflicting letters from Chicago State University (CSU), which Tinubu claimed to have attended on the originality of his certificate.

Justice John Okoro, the chairman of the seven-member panel hearing the application Atiku Abubakar filed against the victory of President Tinubu stated this on Monday session of the Supreme.

He stated, “But in this case, there are two conflicting letters from the CSU—one authenticating the president’s certificate and another discrediting it. Which do we rely on?”

Reacting to the development, Sani said the situation calls for spiritual attention.

Sani stated this in a tweet via his verified X handle on Tuesday.

He said, “If the Supreme Court received two conflicting letters from Chicago, the best thing for them is to go into fasting for three days; on the third day, God will show them the genuine one in a dream. We are a prayerful nation.”

Doubt on Tinubu’s certificate, is among the grounds which the Peoples democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the February 25 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi, are kicking against the announcement of Tinubu as the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Atiku had in a statement pressed Tinubu to stop dodging his alleged certificate forgery, stop speaking through paid men about it, and address the issue personally, rather than chasing shadows and spare Nigeria and Nigerians further reputational damage.
