British broadcaster and lifelong Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has heaped praise on midfielder Declan Rice following the North London outfit’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final.
He hailed the England international in a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) page after Mikel Arteta’s team defeated their La Liga opponents, Atletico Madrid, 1-0 in the semi-final second-leg tie of the European competition on Tuesday night.
Arsenal progressed to the Champions League final for the second time in their history, thanks to a 44th-minute strike by Bukayo Saka.
