The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has emerged as the new Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum.

This development was revealed in a recent statement in which the forum congratulated the governor on his emergence.

According to the statement, Makinde’s appointment reflected his consistent leadership and dedication to democratic governance at a time of growing pressure on democratic institutions.

It also noted that his leadership qualities had become more evident in recent years, particularly as Nigeria continues to grapple with economic challenges, insecurity, and broader governance concerns.
