Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi yesterday met the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo in Ota, Ogun State, the same day the All Progressives Congress (APC) hosted some ‘fake bishops’ at its event in Abuja.
Obi and Oyedepo’s meeting coincided with the unveiling of Kashim Shettima in Abuja as running mate to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, an event that was attended by ‘fake bishops.’ They were drafted to the event to show the acceptability of the Muslim-Muslim, which the candidacy of Tinubu and Shettima represent, ticket among Christian leaders. The ‘bishops’ were later found to be fake after photographs and videos emerged showing them changing their clothes at the premises of the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua centre, the venue of the ceremony.
