Popular Nollywood actress, Peggy Ovire who had her traditional wedding with fellow movie star, Frederick Leonard recently, wasted no time in changing her surname to that of her husband on her Instagram bio.
Also, captioning a now-viral video she posted on Sunday after tying the knot, Peggy wrote:
“Allow me to re-introduce myself. Mrs Leonard.”
The celebrity couple exchanged marital vows in front of family, friends and fellow celebrities at a traditional marriage held in Warri, Delta state on Saturday, November 19.

The wedding ceremony was attended by colleagues such as Destiny Etiko, Mary Igwe, Junior Pope, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ugezu U. Ugezu, among others.
Peggy is not the first to change her maiden to her husband’s name in recent times, many other celebrities have followed a similar part after their wedding to their partners.
Recently, actress Judy Austin took up her hubby, Yul Edochie’s surname, while Mercy Aigbe took up her producer husband’s name, Kazim Adeoti, to name a few.
Meanwhile, Peggy has assured her husband, Frederick Leonard that she will do everything within her power to make their marriage work, as she delved into their story while making her vows.
The thespian said she dated the handsome actor for 7 years and appreciated him for marrying her, even though she almost gave up at some point.
She assured him that she will be faithful throughout their marriage and corrected the impression that Leonard is flirtatious, saying ” he is not a womanizer”
Peggy went on to advise single ladies to endure and weather the storm with their broke boyfriends, urging them to grow with them as she did with her husband.
Frederick while replying, took the microphone and gushed over his beautiful wife while appreciating her for being his everything and standing by him through rich and thin.
