England striker, Michael Owen has praised Nigerian forward, Emmanuel Dennis after he earned Watford a precious 1-0 win away to Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa on Saturday.
Dennis scored the game’s only goal in the 23rd minute to secure a surprise win which lifted the relegation-threatened Watford to the 18th position in the Premier League.
Watford have not won a Premier League match in the last 12 matches played since December 2021, and had earned just 2 points from a possible 36 points before the win.

The Super Eagles striker scored after Senegals’ Ismaili Sarr sent a delightful cross which he headed into the bottom of the net.
Micheal Owen, while talking to League Productions after the match, praised the striker who has been on fire since joining Watford, saying the striker impressed him.
He also said he has been a revelation in the Premier League, calling his goal “a great finish”.
He said, “I was surprised with the last result with Burnley and I was equally surprised with this one, Watford winning away at Aston Villa.
“Dennis, what a player, what a signing he’s been in the Premier League this season, great finish again from him.”
