Nollywood actress, Osas Ighodaro, has alleged that a male thespian used his tongue during her first on-screen kiss experience in the Nigerian film industry.
She made this known while featuring as a guest on a recent episode of ‘The Culture League’ podcast.
According to Ighodaro, who relocated to Nigeria from the United States in 2012, the male actor attempted to use his tongue which they were carrying out their roles on a movie set.

She added that the incident was her first rude shock in Nollywood.
She went on to argue that it is not the standard practice, adding that both actors must discuss such first before engaging in it.
Speaking during the interview, Ighodaro said, “My first on-screen kiss in Nigeria took me by surprise. Though, I knew the kiss was coming and I was prepared for an ‘on-screen kiss.’
“In my experience, you are not supposed to put your tongue down somebody’s mouth. But the person did. On the basic level, if you are going to do an on-screen kiss you talk about it, ‘Oh I’m going to put my tongue in your mouth.’ But if you don’t talk about it then you know it’s the basics.”
