Nkechi Blessing and Phyna settled their long-running feud on Thursday, 1 October, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

Nigerian movie star Nkechi Blessing has blamed her defeat to Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, in their highly anticipated celebrity boxing match on a lack of preparation.
The Nollywood thespian revealed this recently during an Instagram Live session.
The two entertainers finally settled their long-running clash inside the ring on Thursday, 1 October, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
After several rounds of throwing punches, Phyna eventually emerged victorious, leaving many curious about what went wrong for the actress.

However, following the bout, Blessing appeared to take her loss in good spirits, admitting that her preparation was not up to par compared to Phyna’s.
According to the actress, she only trained for two days before stepping into the ring, while Phyna reportedly spent more than two weeks preparing.
She said, “I’m not a boxer; I only trained for two days, unlike Phyna, who trained for more than two weeks.”
Nkechi, giving a humorous account of Phyna’s movement during the fight, also claimed the reality star kept running around the ring.
”She was always running from me in the ring, so I had to ask her, ‘Why are you running like a woman?'” she added.
