Nigerians have started offering prayers for Afrobeats star, Keshinro Ololade, better known as Lil Kesh, after he reportedly got stabbed in the neck during a robbery incident in Lagos.
According to Hip TV, the Shoki crooner narrowly escaped death after he was attacked on Wednesday, August 20, in what eyewitnesses described as a violent armed assault.
During the incident, jewelry worth millions of naira was reportedly carted away from him.
Although details of the robbery remain sketchy at the moment, sources close to the singer said he was rushed to a medical facility where doctors successfully stitched his ear and treated other injuries.
Lil Kesh and the Lagos State Police Command are yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.

However, after the news made the rounds on social media, it sent his fans into panic mode as they offered prayers for him and wished him well.
A netizen, identified as Prestige wrote, “Praying for Lil Baba.”
Another Internet user, Designs wrote, “Wtf, I think someone who knows him has a hand in it, quick recovery to him though.”
One Web3_Soul added, “The country is getting very tough now, people are moving to do dangerous things to survive. My prayers to Lil Kesh, no one deserves this.”
Oke Tmoniiyoungbless also said, “Artists should never have to fear for their lives in their own city. This has to change. Prayers for Lil Kesh.”
