Nigeria parades Amusan, Brume, 92 other athletes to Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

Carrying the ‘can-do’ spirits are these 94 athletes representing Nigeria in nine sporting disciplines in Birmingham, United Kingdom

All eyes will be on Team Nigeria as the Commonwealth Games open in the City of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

Splendid performance by two of Nigerian athletes easily make them the stars to watch. Tobi Amusan not only won gold medal in the women’s 100m hurdles, she made an unprecedented mark of breaking world records twice in one night.

Also for special attention is Ese Brume, the World Athletics Championship silver medallist and a serial medallist.

But Team Nigeria is not just about these two star performers. There are 92 others whose spirits have been boosted by Amusan and Brume.

Carrying the ‘can-do’ spirits are these 94 athletes representing Nigeria in nine sporting disciplines. Here they are:
