Nigeria @65: The Example in Ajaka Ward 1 as citadel of political civilisation in Kogi politics
By Jibrin Isah
Society is a component of people with demographic variables and those variables are a reflection of their political orientation for massive participation and crusade for good leadership.
Ajaka ward 1 has placed itself in peaceful political movement regarding non violence nature during electioneering.
Even in comparative population analysis in terms of ratio and density, Ajaka ward 1 is unbeatable. The political philosophy and ontological beliefs by members of Ajaka ward one in Kogi politics placed premium to decency and peaceful political behaviour, as ward leaders abhor violence in the acquisition of power.
The political arrangement in the ward is uniquely different from other wards in the state. Ajaka ward 1 is the centerpeace in Kogi politics under Igalamela Local Government and these positive attributes cannot be achieved without mentioning the likes of professor Stephen Ocheni, the then minister of State for labour, RT Hon. Ismaila Inah, Hon. Eunice Achimugu, the current SA to His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo on Drugs abuse and trafficking.
Also worth mentioning include; the chairman of Igalamela/ Odolu Local Government of Kogi State, Hon. Cosmos Atabo, Hon Teni Amodu and many more people who see peace above violence, who see enthronement of democracy and good leadership through political participation in a non- violent means.
From the foregoing, the spate and velocity at which Ajaka ward 1 is going in Kogi politics is fundamental for good leadership and enthronement of independent democracy in governance.
Members of Ajaka ward one are homogenous people in terms of political equation and analysis. Leaders within the ward should see themselves as servants by not seeing others as subservient in our collective struggle for ward development with a technocratic agenda.
Considering the heterogeneity of Kogi state, we celebrate another uninterrupted independence day. Freedom is important but freedom without limitations is inimical to social responsibility.
In libertarian theory, when an aggregate group of people come together, if informed and enlightened, they can arrive at a wise decision. This day extends to us freedom to make decisions unaided where pushes and pulls of contending Idea can be raised to the plane of discussion. This day gives us positive impetus to our fundamental and inalienable rights to human agitations in the most decent and constructive manner.
God bless Ajaka Ward 1, God Bless Kogi State, God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
