Trinidadian rapper, singer and songwriter, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, better known as Nicki Minaj has dismissed rumours that she is bankrupt.
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker refuted the claims while responding to a fan who expressed concern over her financial situation.
Prior to this, there were rumours that Nicki Minaj is “broke” after calling out billionaire music executive, Jay-Z over an alleged $200 million debt.
Some netizens also claimed the 42-year-old singer went bankrupt after her recent tour.
Worried by the insinuations, a fan asked, “There was a tweet about u having nothing left after ya tour, you didn’t quote that to say it was a lie tho.”

Responding, Minaj denied the rumour saying it was the handiwork of her enemies.
She went on to stress that she is about to add a new property to the two she bought previously.
Speaking via her verified social media handle, Minaj wrote, “Buying another mansion as we speak. It would be the 3rd in 2 years. That’s besides the property I bought for others for 15 years. Catch up ugly. If tmrw I wake up & want maybe 20-30MM, all I have to do is hand in my album silly wabbit. Then I’d tour again & gross over a hunnit.
“Do you realize this is Nicki Minaj? It’s just projection from Bot Nation it seems. Justice for Demoree.”
