Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has penned an emotional farewell message to English club, Leicester City after completing a move to Turkish Super Lig giants, Besiktas.
Taking to Instagram, the 28-year-old thanked the club for giving him the “opportunity to grow on and off the pitch”
The defensive midfielder arrived at the King Power Stadium from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk in January 2017.
He won one FA Cup, and a Community Shield during his stay at the club.

Ndidi ended his eight and half years stay with the Foxes after moving to Besiktas this week.
The Nigeria international, who was unveiled by the Turkish club on Friday, signed a three-year contract with the option of an additional year.
Speaking after the move, he wrote,
“Thank you, Leicester City, for the love, memories, and opportunity to grow—on and off the pitch.”
Ndidi scored a total of 18 goals, and registered 22 assists in 303 appearances for the club.
