Al-Nassr bought Musa in a deal worth €16.50m five years ago after he impressed at the 2018 World Cup in Russia

FIFA has taken disciplinary action against Cristiano Ronaldo’s club, Al-Nassr after they failed to obey a judgement by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
This was revealed via a now-viral social media post by sports journalist, Ben Jacobs.
According to him, the world football governing body banned the Saudi Arabian-based club from registering any new signing going into the new Saudi Pro League.
This is because Al-Nassr failed to meet their obligation to English club, Leicester City after signing Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa in 2018.

Musa moved to the Saudi Arabian Pro League side in a deal worth €16.50m five years ago after he impressed at the World Cup in Russia.
While the Knights of Naja completed his transfer fee, they are yet to pay the add-ons in the contract signed with the then Premier League club.
They were later taken to CAS, who ordered them to pay the Foxes €460,000 in performance-related add-ons.
However, despite the court pronouncement, the Saudi Arabian giants are yet to obey CAS’ ruling, forcing FIFA to ban them from registering new players ahead of the new season.
Announcing the decision, Jacobs took to his Twitter handle and wrote: “Al-Nassr have been banned by FIFA from registering new players for failing to pay add-ons owed to Leicester as part of the Ahmed Musa deal. Between 2018-20 Musa triggered £390k (€460k) in performance-related add-ons, which are yet to be paid despite CAS ruling in #LCFC’s favour”
