Mudryk moves closer to Emirates after agreeing 5-year Arsenal deal

Mudryk recently posted videos of him on social media following Arsenal league matches and this has increased speculations that a deal is close

Shakhtar Donetsk forward, Mykhaylo Mudryk, has agreed personal terms with the Gunners and will become an Arsenal player once his Ukrainian club consent to a deal with their North London counterpart. 

According to Sports Arena, the 21-year-old, who is believed to be very keen on joining the Gunners in the January window, has now agreed to join the Premier League club.

Mudryk recently posted videos of him on social media following Arsenal league matches and this has increased speculations that a deal is very close. 

Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, has admitted in press briefings that he wants to add to his attacking options in the second half of the 2022/2023 league campaign.

Arsenal on Saturday, extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 7 points but are still stretched in attacking areas following a serious injury to Gabriel Jesus at the World Cup.

Arteta is set to act fast by adding to his squad, with Mudryk his priority target and it does appear a deal is close for the player.

Mudryk has now agreed to a five-year Arsenal deal, as the two clubs remain in negotiations.

Last week, Shakhtar Donetsk turned down an initial £ 55 million offer from the Gunners and are holding out for a much larger fee.
