Benfica manager, Jose Mourinho, has affirmed that English Premier League (EPL) club, Chelsea are well equipped to win this season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL).
The 62-year-old made this known on Monday while speaking ahead of a return to Stamford Bridge to face the Blues on Tuesday night.
Mourinho, however, warned his former team that the UCL will be harder to win than the Club World Cup.

While addressing journalists, the Portuguese tactician said, “The Champions League is much harder to win than the Club World Cup.
“But Chelsea have the potential to do it. I don’t see any reason to say they have no chance.”
Chelsea, who currently occupy the 28th spot on the league table, were beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich in their first fixture of the group phase.
They will be looking to claim maximum points against Benfica, who were also defeated 3-2 by Qarabağ FK.
