Mosquera set to complete Arsenal move after confirming Valencia exit

Valencia defender, Cristhian Mosquera is set to undergo medical at Arsenal after announcing that he will be leaving La Liga side, Valencia.

This was confirmed by Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano in a post he shared on his X page.

Mosquera is expected to finalise his transfer move to the North London club this week.

The Spanish centre-back while speaking recently with Spanish radio station Radio Marca Valencia, confirmed his exit from Valencia.

He said: “Valencia is my home, I arrived here at 12 years old and I am leaving as a man.”

While backing the claim on his verified social media handle, Romano said Arsenal and Valencia have exchanged all documents relating to Mosquera’s deal.

He went on to say a €15 million plus add-ons, total fee under €20 million and long term deal for the 21-year-old Spanish International was reached by both clubs.

Romano added that Mosquera’s medical with Arsenal has been booked for Wednesday (today) in London.

Speaking via his verified social media handle, he wrote: “Arsenal and Valencia have also exchanged documents for Cristhian Mosquera deal.

“€15m plus add-ons, total fee under €20m and long term deal for Mosquera.

“Medical booked on Wednesday.”

Mosquera joined Valencia from Spanish club Hercules back in 2016.
