Morocco await the winner of the match between Paraguay and France in the quarter-finals, following their emphatic win.

Morocco defeated Canada 3-0 on Saturday to book their place in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup in a match played at Houston Stadium.
The two sides had previously met in the group stage of the tournament, with Morocco winning that fixture 2-1.
Azzedine Ounahi opened the scoring for the North Africans in the 50th minute after profiting from an Achraf Hakimi free-kick.

Mohamed Ouahbi’s men doubled their advantage in the 82nd minute when Brahim Díaz chopped inside and laid the ball off to Ounahi, who smashed home his second of the game at the near post.
Soufiane Rahimi then finished off a slick move following another perfectly weighted pass from Díaz to wrap up the encounter in style.
Following the emphatic win, Morocco await the winner of the match between Paraguay and France in the quarter-finals.
