Veteran Journalist and publisher, Dele Momodu, has said he decided to pitch his tent with the 2023 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, because “everyone is afraid” of him.

He made this known on Thursday on Channels TV, while explaining why he left the PDP for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Momodu went on to affirm that he would be backing the former vice president during the 2027 presidential elections.

He also argued that his support for Atiku is based on a strategic understanding of Nigeria’s political reality, adding that the Adamawa-born politician can wrestle power from President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Party (APC).
