Based on a fictional account pittng a fastidious police officer, Inspector Waziri, against the murderous Prince Aderopo who continues to leave series of murders in his wake, October 1 is yet another fascinating piece from the stable of Golden Effects.
Featuring renowned actors such as Sadiq Daba, Kenneth Okonkwo, Kunle Afolayan, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, Demola Adedoyin, David Baile, Kayode Olaiya (Aderupoko) and others, the movie features even top fashion designer, Deola Sagoe.
According to Afolayan, “October 1 is a thought-provoking movie that isn’t solely about entertaining viewers but also serves to communicate important national messages.
“We want the younger generation to know where we are coming from and the older generation to see if we are moving in the right direction,” adds Afolayan who thanked the cast for doing a fantastic job in delivering this utterly compelling movie.
