Mbeumo returns to Brentford for the first time since his £71million switch from the Bees to Man United.

Before leaving the London outfit last season, the 26-year-old recorded a career-best 20 goals and nine assists.

However, while speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, Andrews warned Mbeumo that he should expect a ‘not nice reception on the pitch’ during the clash.

He, however, promised the Cameroon international a ‘really good reception from the fans’.

He said, “Bryan rightly should get a really good reception. Having said that, I don’t want us to give him a nice reception on the pitch.

“Yes, we know all about him…we’ll hopefully try to nullify that by making an afternoon that he doesn’t enjoy.”

Man United will be hoping to boost their confidence with a  win in the tricky  league encounter.

A victory for Ruben Amorim’s men will mean they finally achieved a back-to-back win for the first time in a long time.
