Former Nigerian international, Nwankwo Kanu, has tipped his former side, Arsenal, to win this year’s UEFA Champions League when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the final, insisting “it’s their turn”.
The Gunners legend made this known while sharing his thoughts with Flashscore ahead of the elite European competition’s final on Saturday.
Arsenal fly to Budapest on the back of winning their first English Premier League (EPL) title in 22 years.
Mikel Arteta’s men have also booked their spot in the UCL final without losing a single game along the way.

PSG, on the other hand, are the defending champions and have already beaten English sides such as Chelsea and Liverpool this campaign.
While discussing the eagerly anticipated final, Kanu noted that after losing the Premier League to Manchester City several times in recent years, Arsenal have finally lifted the trophy.
He added that he believes the players will now make it a historic year for the North London club.
“I told my friends that last season, we were struggling against Manchester City, and they went on to win the league. But this season, the tables turned, and we have come out on top to win the Premier League title,” Kanu said.
He added, “In the same way, PSG won the Champions League last year, but I truly believe that this season it will be Arsenal’s turn to go all the way and lift the trophy, making it a historic year for the club.”
