JusticeCrack vows to continue advocating a better Nigeria despite detention, trial by FG

JusticeCrack gained prominence after the Nigerian government put him on trial for allegedly posting videos highlighting the substandard welfare of soldiers fighting in conflict zones.

Social media influencer, blogger, and activist, Justice Mark Chidiebere, better known as JusticeCrack, has reacted to his ongoing legal ordeal, calling for accountability, justice, and good governance in Nigeria.

He made the demand in a now-trending statement shared on his verified social media handle.

He was initially picked up by the military before being handed over to the Department of State Services (DSS). He subsequently faced a federal trial in Abuja on charges of cybercrime, felony, and breach of public peace, to which he pleaded not guilty.

Following a brief period of incarceration and legal proceedings, he was eventually released from custody after meeting his ₦5 million bail conditions.

Speaking in his latest post, JusticeCrack noted that his experience in custody tested him emotionally, mentally, and physically, but ultimately strengthened his belief in a better Nigeria.

He, however, added that he would continue to respect the ongoing legal process surrounding the case.

“What I went through, and what I am still going through, has tested me emotionally, mentally, and physically, but it did not break me. Instead, it made me stronger,” the statement read.
