Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by Jordan on Tuesday night in an international friendly in Antalya, Turkey.
Although Nigeria were the more lively side, it was the 64th-ranked Asian team who opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Musa Al-Taamari.
Nigeria thought they had restored parity seven minutes later when Raphael Onyedika found the net, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
However, the Super Eagles eventually equalised through Moses Simon in the 26th minute.
He reacted quickest inside the box, producing a left-footed finish after Ademola Lookman’s initial effort was blocked.

The Super Eagles continued to dominate the match early in the second half but failed to double their advantage.
Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was replaced by Adebayo Adeleye in the 57th minute after picking up an injury.
