Nigerian music star and songwriter Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, has assured unemployed ladies that financial independence isn’t one of the criteria he looks for in a partner, saying: “I am rich.”
The ‘Romeo Must Die’ crooner made the clarification recently during a livestream with popular streamer Shank.
According to Ruger, he has dated women in the past who were not only unemployed but also lazy.
Speaking during the session, he said: “A woman’s financial status doesn’t matter to me. I am rich. I have dated girls who didn’t make money before. They just sleep and wake up.”
Ruger further noted that his ideal woman is “someone who is funny.”
Expressing his desire to walk down the aisle soon, he added: “I keep ordering take-outs because there is no one at home to cook for me. That’s one of the reasons I want to settle down.”
The 26-year-old artist also disclosed during the interview that he has made over $2 million so far this year.
