Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has reiterated how strong the defence of English Premier League (EPL) rivals, Arsenal, is, saying he can only hope the Gunners will concede goals soon.
He made this known while speaking on Sunday after his team’s 3-1 win over high-flying Bournemouth.
A brace from Erling Haaland and another goal from Nico O’Reilly ensured Guardiola’s men closed the gap between themselves and the league leaders, Arsenal, to six points.

Mikel Arteta’s men have been in stunning form lately and are yet to concede in seven matches across all competitions.
However, when asked if his team could sniff the title despite the Gunners’ form, Guardiola replied: “Well, hopefully, Arsenal can concede one goal one day. It is not easy for them. But it’s just 10 games, there are 28 more to play and many, many things will happen.”
Man City host reigning EPL champions, Liverpool, next weekend in what could be a crucial fixture in the title race.
