Alexander-Arnold left Liverpool to join La Liga giants, Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold, has stated he would show respect to his former club, Liverpool, should he score against them in the UEFA Champions League (UCL).
The Reds are set to host La Liga giants, Real Madrid, in a UCL Group Stage fixture on Tuesday night at Anfield.
Alexander-Arnold, who spent his entire career at Liverpool, surprisingly left the Premier League club during the summer transfer window to join the Los Blancos.

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated encounter between Madrid and Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold insisted that he would not celebrate if he were to score against his former side.
“Real Madrid against Liverpool? Everyone kind of knew that this fixture was going to happen,” Alexander-Arnold said, as quoted by The Touchline on X.
He added, “It was destined for that to happen. No, if I were to score, I wouldn’t celebrate. No.”
Alexander-Arnold won several major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League, during his successful tenure at Liverpool.
