TheNiche correspondent who sampled views of Olubunmi Tunji Ojo’s constituents found that he is well-loved by the masses and favourably tipped to emerge victorious at the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The constituents have condemned the verbal attack against Tunji Ojo by Abiye Ademoyegun, and described it as selfish and self-serving.

Speaking on behalf of the people of Akoko North East and Convener of the One Million Man March For BTO, as Olubunmi Tunji Ojo is fondly called, Pastor Olumide Obadele, who is also from the same Isowopo zone of Akoko North East Local Government as Hon. Abiye, described her recent voice note outburst against Olubunmi Tunji Ojo as unfortunate.

His words: “I am from the same Isowopo in Akoko North-East with Hon. Abiye. She is my sister, but it is quite unfortunate that somebody of her level of exposure could descend so low to engage herself in such pettiness and flippancy. Her outburst against BTO does not in any way represent the position of our people.

“My group is already working on a piece to address the much-touted rotation she premised her argument. I think she should face her campaign and leave BTO alone. Nobody sent her, she is on her own. She is not qualified to speak on behalf of our Local Government. We know our party elders and leaders.

“I am ashamed she could descend so low. My group will issue an official statement on the matter,” Pastor Olumide added.
