Grace for new possibilities

-

Everyone in life and everywhere in the world is in need of one good thing or another. People’s desires are infinite; some are physical, spiritual, social, relational, financial, marital, academics, ministerial, political, etc.

These needs, desires or wants could be individual needs or for our loved ones, near kin or for our community or country. And the earnest wish or desire of all is to see that these needs are met. No one is exactly happy when they come face to face with impossible situations or circumstances, whether directly or indirectly.

But from the scriptures we read, the word of God tells us that, “With God all things are possible” and “to whosoever that believes” (Nothing shall be impossible that mean if only we can believe.). Good health is possible –employment, breakthrough, blissful marriage, Godly prosperity, success, hassle-free visa, academic excellence, all-round fruitfulness, restoration, promotion, favour and advancement are all possible. Completing your project(s) is possible as well as fulfilling your life goals.

Place of grace for all around and new possibilities

Grace is one of the most important doctrines for us as Christians, and yet it is one of the least understood and most controversial subjects for many. That is why I need to start by giving you the definition of grace.

“Grace is the empowering pressure of God enabling you to be who He created you to be, and to do what He has called you to do” (1Cor. 15:10). “But by the grace of God, I am what I am…”

Grace is divine assistance given to us as humans for our regeneration or sanctification. Grace is also the power of God to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. John 15:5 says “Without me, you can do nothing.”

In the New Testament, the word translated as ‘grace’ is the Greek word “charis”.

Strong’s Concordance gives this definition of grace: “The state of kindness and favour towards someone, often with a focus on the benefit given to the object.” Also, this is the moral quality of kindness, displaying a favourable disposition.

Under the King James Version of the Bible, the word ‘grace’ was translated 38 times as “grace”, 26 times as “favour” and 2twice as “gracious”.

Grace also means getting the good that we do not deserve, mercy is not getting the bad that we deserve, and justice is getting exactly what we deserve.

Divine grace is the offer of a relationship with the deity. It is the goodwill of God that is made manifest and given to man as a gift. Love, assistance, protection, deliverance, fruitfulness, security, uplift, etcare products of grace.

God bless you!
