“Anambra is the heart of the Southeastern states. We’ve to bring out a candidate that will win the main election and connect Anambra, which is the heart of the Southeast, to the center. Winning the state for the APC as the number three will be very good,” he said.

Governor Otu informed the delegates that pre-primary election meetings with all the aspirants were held the previous night, and they all agreed that a transparent exercise would be held and whoever emerged victorious will enjoy the support of others.

He reiterated the need for oneness of purpose and unity as the party goes into the main election.
