Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has dismissed allegations that she snubbed Fuji musician Wasiu Alabi Odetola, popularly known as Pasuma Wonder, at a Lagos event over the weekend.
She addressed the speculation while reacting to a trending video on X (formerly Twitter), which captured the moment the Fuji legend tried to get Akindele’s attention while she was exchanging pleasantries with someone else.
In the footage, the actress continues her conversation with the other individual, resulting in Pasuma returning to his seat.

Sharing the clip, a social media user identified as Uoladiti suggested that Akindele had intentionally ignored the artist.
“The moment Funke Akindele snubbed Pasuma in public. This is not looking good at all,” the influencer wrote in the caption.
The video quickly gained traction on social media, eliciting mixed reactions. Some fans argued that the actress is becoming increasingly arrogant, with others referencing a recent incident where she reportedly snubbed her colleague, Toyin Abraham, at an Iyabo Ojo movie premiere.
However, Akindele has debunked the allegations, clarifying that she not only greeted Pasuma at the event but also danced with him.
Reacting to the post, she wrote: “Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity, please. I saw him, greeted him, and danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon [elder brother/senior]. Please, you all should stop this evil.”
