Funke Akindele said so after sharing a video of her TV screen showing Portable performing his song “Apostle” on her Instagram page

Popular Nollywood actress and movie producer, Funke Akindele has described controversial singer, Habeeb Okikioka, better known as Portable as a genuine artiste.
The mother of two who seems to have taken interest in the Street Pop singer since he reached out to her, made this known via a recent social media post.
Funke took to her official Instagram page to share a video of her TV screen, showing Portable performing his hit song “Apostle”.
In the now-viral video, the talented thespian could be heard in the background saying: “Just be real, that is it, he is real.”

Funke’s clip has, however, stirred different reactions, as it came after the actress’ recent defeat at the gubernatorial poll in Lagos.
Many of those who commented seized the opportunity to aim a dig at her, as they claimed her comment was impacted by her loss.

Funke Akindele recently lost the 2023 Lagos State gubernatorial election, which she contested as a deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressives Party (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
