Manchester United fans were seen on Monday night begging Brazilian international midfielder Casemiro to reconsider his decision and stay at the club for one more year.
The demand was made of the veteran midfielder during the Red Devils’ 2-1 Premier League victory against Brentford at Old Trafford.
United took the lead against the Bees through Casemiro’s towering header in the 11th minute.
Benjamin Sesko then doubled their advantage before the break as Michael Carrick’s men took control of the game.

However, Mathias Jensen curled an effort into the bottom corner for the visitors to make the closing stages uncomfortable, but United held on for the win.
After finding the breakthrough, Casemiro—who had previously announced he would leave United for a new challenge at the end of the season—celebrated his goal by pointing to the club’s badge.
The gesture fired up the home support, who erupted in appreciation for the Brazilian, chanting: “One more year, one more year, Casemiro!”
Footage of the emotional scene, showing the fans’ desire to see the 34-year-old midfielder extend his stay beyond the expiration of his contract in June 2026, later went viral on social media.
Reacting to the chants, teammate Matheus Cunha took to Instagram after the game to echo the sentiment, writing: “One more year, Casemiro…”
