Fairtrade Messe set to host Agrofood, plastprintpack trade fair

Fairtrade Messe is set to host the 10th edition of Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria, a premier trade fair for the agrofood and plastprintpack industries.
The organisers of the event, fairtrade Messe made the announcement on Thursday at a pre exhibition stakeholders and media engagement in Lagos.
The event will take place from March 25 to 27, 2025 at the Landmark Center in Lagos. This milestone event marks a decade of innovation, collaboration and growth.
Exhibition Director, Fairtrade, Freyja Detjen, said the 3-day conference will feature over 20 sessions and more than 70 speakers in a 180-seat conference room.
She said: “Reflecting the partnership between Nigeria and Germany, this designation highlights German expertise in these sectors and provides opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and business development between German and Nigerian stakeholders.”
According to her, Nigeria has made significant investments in food and packaging technology, with €304m invested in 2023, making it Africa’s second-largest investor. “The country’s food production has also witnessed a remarkable surge of 39.6% in recent years,” she said.
They also announced that the 7th West African Cold Chain Summit & Exhibition (WACCSE) will be co-located with Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria 2025.
