It, however, appeals to the governor to consider looking into their severance payments.

“We respectfully bring to the governor’s attention the pressing matter of unpaid severance allowances to past political office holders, particularly those who served under Dr. Segun Mimiko and the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN).

“We passionately appeal to the governor to consider settling these outstanding payments, which would provide financial closure and improve the lives of these former office holders.”

The said its members are eager to collaborate and work with Mr Governor politically. They advise that he should involve its members who are seasoned politicians in the political programmes and activities in the state.

According to him, now that the breeze of President Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid is blowing everywhere, the forum promised to faithfully follow and support Governor Aiyedatiwa in his efforts to return President Tinubu for second term.

“Once again, the forum thanked the governor for settling our outstanding salaries and look forward to his favourable consideration of our request regarding severance allowances”, he added
