Ex-Kaduna PDP youth leader, Aliyu Bello, defects to ADC

A former youth leader and financial secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Aliyu Bello, has defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), bolstering the opposition party’s chances in the state.
A statement posted on the X handle of ADC National Youth leader, Balarabe Rufa’i, salutes Bello’s cross over to the ADC, saying it would impact the party’s chances in Kaduna.
Bello was received in the ADC at an event attended by the party’s National Youth Leader, Balarabe Rufa’i, former Kaduna Governor and Northwest Leader of the ADC, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai, other stakeholders including Mallam Jafaru Abbas, Mallam Bashir Sa’idu, Suleiman Ibrahim Dabo, and others.
The statement by Rufa’i reads: “Today, as the National Youth Leader of our great party, I had the honor of receiving Alhaji Aliyu Bello into the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Aliyu is no stranger to politics—two-time State Youth Leader and one-time State Financial Secretary of PDP Kaduna State. His official decamp to the ADC was graced by key dignitaries, including the Northwest Leader of the Coalition Mallam Nasiru Elrufai, Mallam Jafaru Abbas, Mallam Bashir Sa’idu, Suleiman Ibrahim Dabo, and other critical stakeholders of our party. Their presence is proof that the ADC is attracting credible leaders who are ready to give Nigeria a new political direction.

When leaders with proven experience like Alhaji Aliyu Bello cross over to the ADC, they are affirming that our party is the credible alternative Nigerians have been waiting for.
