Emir’s Royal Cup: Organisers invite stakeholders, football teams to draw ceremony

The Organising Committee of the Gombe Emir’s Cup Competition has invited all stakeholders, football enthusiasts to the Draws Ceremony of the Gombe Emir’s Cup Competition.
A press statement made available to the media and signed by the organising committee, said the event forms part of its continuous commitment to promoting unity, youth engagement, sportsmanship, peaceful coexistence, and talent development among the Emirates and Traditional Councils across Gombe State.
The event was slated for Wednesday, 13th May 2026 at the ICT NITDA Park, Gombe State University, Gombe State at 10:00. Stakeholders have been advised to be seated early for the draws.
Recall that the Gombe Emir’s Cup remains a unifying football tournament that brings communities together through the spirit of sports and mutual harmony.
“All participating teams, supporters, dignitaries, stakeholders, members of the media, and the general public are warmly invited to observe the historic occasion as we officially set the stage for another exciting edition of the competition.”
