United States billionaire and businessman, Elon Musk, has reacted to announcement heralding the establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) by President Donald Trump.
The newly inaugurated 47th president of the United States of America, in a White House statement on Tuesday provided details for the presidential action.
Accordingly, the executive order noted that DOGE shall “implement the President’s DOGE Agenda by modernising federal technology and software to maximise governmental efficiency and productivity.”

This means that the US Digital Service has now been renamed as US DOGE Service.
“Reorganisation and Renaming of the United States Digital Service. The United States Digital Service is hereby publicly renamed as the United States DOGE Service (USDS) and shall be established in the Executive Office of the President,” the statement clarified.
Reacting to the development, Elon Musk, who is one of the heads of DOGE, said the decision will bring meaningfully progress on a weekly basis.
“There will be meaningful progress every week, ” the owner of X and Tesla tweeted.
