Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé has insisted that Arsenal deserved to face his team in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final.
He made this known during his pre-match press conference ahead of the elite European final, scheduled to take place in Budapest on Saturday.
Arsenal booked their place in the Champions League final after eliminating Atlético Madrid in the semi-finals with a 2-1 aggregate victory.

While addressing journalists ahead of the showpiece event, Dembélé argued that the North London club proved their elite status by winning the English Premier League (EPL) trophy.
The French international went on to add that the Gunners also possess an exceptional manager in Spanish tactician Mikel Arteta.
“Arsenal are an excellent team — we have seen them run away with the Premier League title, but also what they showed us in the league phase,” Dembélé said.
He added: “Their journey has been great; they deserve to be in the final. They play great football and are strong across the board. Set-pieces, everyone knows that. They have got an exceptional coach.”
