Music star, songwriter, and record producer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has called out Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, his House of Representatives counterpart James Faleke, and Ogun West Senator Olamilekan Adeola (popularly known as Yayi), accusing them of trying to overturn the results of the ongoing Osun State governorship election.

The ‘Skelewu’ crooner pointed accusing fingers at the three All Progressives Congress (APC) federal lawmakers late on Saturday in a post shared on his verified X (formerly Twitter) page.

His allegation comes amid the ongoing collation of election results in the state after voters turned out on Saturday to elect their next governor.

According to Davido, who serves as the head of youth mobilisation for the re-election campaign of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, the senators alongside the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives are in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, to supervise the subversion of the people’s mandate.

Taking to his verified account, he wrote: “Sen Opeyemi Bamidele, Sen Olamilekan Adeola and Hon Faleke are both making extra moves to upturn the results. They are in Osogbo.”
