Datti Baba-Ahmed was Peter Obi’s running mate in 2023 when the latter was the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Former Labour Party (LP) vice-presidential candidate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has threatened supporters of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate Peter Obi, popular known as Obidients, that he will make further damaging revelations about their principal following attacks on him.
He fired back at the supporters of the former Anambra State governor during a recent interview with Symfoni TV.
Datti Baba-Ahmed has recently been critical of Obi, especially after dumping the Labour Party for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition.
Following his perceived incessant critical remarks about the NDC presidential candidate, Obidients accused him of betraying Obi and working for Atiku Abubakar.

Reacting during his latest interview, Datti said Obidients are always eager to attack him whenever he tells the truth about their principal, Obi.
According to him, he has more damaging details to reveal about Peter Obi and the 2023 election if Obidients continue to attack him.
”Obidients are always eager to attack me. I have more damaging things to reveal. You attack me because I told you the truth about Peter Obi,” Datti said.
He further stated that he remains a loyal member of the Labour Party but will not be silenced by Obidients who do not know what happened in 2023.
