One Aminu Adamu has been banned by a court from entering his former wife’s bedroom to meet his children.

Kaduna Shariah Court Judge Anas Khalifa gave the order after confirming the three divorce pronouncements Adamu made to Jamila Sani his former wife.

“There is no marriage between you and her because of the divorce pronouncement. You must refrain from meeting with her in private. If you must see your children, see them outside her room,” Khalifa ruled.

The court also ordered Adamu to continue to take care of his children’s feeding, school fees, shelter, and health as a father.

Adamu promised to give Sani N15,000 weekly as feeding allowance for the children.

The woman had asked the court to confirm the three pronouncements of divorce, Adamu made in June and grant her custody of the children she gave birth to in the dissolved marriage.
