Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Aloma Isaac Junior, popularly known as Zicsaloma, has explained why he decided to undergo nose surgery, stating he changed his looks to boost his confidence.
He made this known in a now-trending video he shared on his official Instagram page.
Zicsaloma had previously disclosed that he had rhinoplasty in Turkey, adding that the procedure, which included a facelift and eye rejuvenation, lasted over four hours.
He further revealed that the entire process cost about $11,000, though he didn’t pay for the surgery itself as it was part of a collaboration with the hospital.
The initial disclosure elicited mixed reactions, as some Nigerians questioned his decision to undergo the surgery.

Responding in the new IG post, Saloma said the procedure was motivated by years of insecurity about his appearance.
He added that he had lost several opportunities in the entertainment industry because of how he looked.
He further explained that the cosmetic surgery made him more confident and ready to take on new opportunities in the industry.
He also encouraged people who can afford the procedure to go ahead if it will help improve their confidence and self-esteem.
Speaking via his verified social media handle, Zicsaloma said: “I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it.”
