Cleric Juanita King unveils foundation, books to empower widows, vulnerable children in Rivers
A cleric, Dr Juanita King, has called for renewed commitment towards empowering the less privileged and vulnerable children in society.
She also advocated for the strengthening of family values as a critical pathway to fostering unity, love, and national cohesion.
Dr King made the call in Port Harcourt during the public presentation of two new books written by her and the formal unveiling of her non-governmental organisation, the Honeycomb Revival Foundation.
The two books presented are entitled The Mystery of the Rib: God’s Master Plan for Marriage and The Prison Called Unforgiveness: I Deserve a Second Chance.

She described the two books as blueprints for healing homes and restoring dignity to hurting individuals.
Dr King disclosed that the Honeycomb Revival Foundation was birthed from a deep conviction that revival is only complete when a transformed heart becomes transformed hands.
She explained that her interactions with widows struggling to survive, children denied educational opportunities, youths without direction, and families battling hardship inspired her to create a platform for practical intervention.

According to the cleric: “The Honeycomb Revival Foundation aims to be a channel of hope, restoration, empowerment, and transformation.”
She revealed that over 100 widows are already benefiting from the foundation’s support, adding that by God’s grace, and with like-minded partners, the foundation will reach more people.
Dr King further charged privileged Christians to move beyond preaching about God’s love to actively demonstrating it in their communities.
“The honeycomb represents sweetness, healing, nourishment, and refreshment,” she said. “We desire to bring hope to the despairing, comfort to those in pain, and opportunities where doors have remained shut for too long.”
She called on individuals, corporate bodies, and faith-based organisations to partner with the foundation to build a lasting legacy of compassion.
The chairman of the occasion, Chief Johnbosco Ike, commended Dr King for her commitment to societal restoration, describing the two books as timely contributions to moral and spiritual rebirth.
“The messages in these books bring freedom and healing,” Chief Ike said. “But beyond writing, Dr King has gone further to establish the Honeycomb Revival Foundation, a platform that will empower lives and demonstrate hope through practical service.”
Reviewing The Mystery of the Rib: God’s Master Plan for Marriage, Dr Daughter Nnamdi described the book as a scriptural guide to building enduring marriages.
“The book does not just highlight the challenges facing marriages today, it offers practical hope,” Dr Nnamdi said.
She said the book points readers back to the Bible as the foundation for a successful union and emphasises forgiveness as the glue that holds families together, adding that Dr King writes in a way that is accessible, encouraging, and deeply relatable.
Also reviewing The Prison Called Unforgiveness: I Deserve a Second Chance, Apostle Kevin Enyinnah described it as a masterpiece and a prophetic tool for personal liberation.
He said the book teaches a hard truth: that holding a grudge is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. He said the book outlines steps to freedom, including admitting the wrong, choosing to forgive, and releasing the relationship.
He added that in writing the book, the author reminds readers that forgiveness does not mean forgetting — it means refusing to let the past control the future.
The event drew clerics, traditional rulers, women leaders, and dignitaries from Rivers, Imo, Abia, Anambra, and other states, who made donations to support the book launch and the foundation.
