Tinubu ahead of his inauguration on May 29, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja, on Monday afternoon from France, where he has been on vacation for more than a month.

Speaking to the crowd at the airport on his arrival, the President-elect assured Nigerians that he is strong, happy to be back and ready to commence the task ahead.

He said: “I’m happy to be back. I have rested, I’m refreshed and I’m ready for the task ahead.”

“Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I’m strong, very strong.”

Taking to his Twitter handle he wrote:  “Wahala wahala wahala.
